MAX KOEKKOEK
In the German city of Kleve there is a HAUS KOEKKOEK.
A museum dedicated to the Dutch Family of Koekkoek, 19th century landscape painters.
Whether related or NOT related:
Max is born in a family of artists / master craftsmen.
His father a living example of Sixties Interior Design. His eldest brother Eric is painter.
His younger brother Hans conservator/restaurator.
In the MID 60’s. Max received his classic formation from the friars
at the progressive KRUISHERENCOLLEGE UDEN.
Destiny brings him to Belgium. The 80’s. Into jewelry.
Studying design, fabrication in Germany and Italy. Travels and produces all over SouthEast Asia.
Extends his field of art into Decoration & Interior Design.
In 1993 he establishes himself in Mexico, in Tonalá Jalisco
Main Centre of Mexican Arts & Crafts.
Here he even more widens his creative vision.
Now together with the next generation he keeps on going:

The eldest daughter of Max & Chelo, followed in their footsteps. After 5 years in Europe and finishing the career of Goldsmithing, she came back into the workshop to have her own line.
At night-time she studies and is doing a Master in Business Administration.
She is now one of the pillars of the family business.
